Simple Self Healing Through Meditation
Hello,
This website is dedicated to healing, simply, naturally, gently. Healing is like the air we breathe, any one can experience it and no one owns it. It is always there waiting to be called upon and enjoyed. So take a few moments to explore and find the simple healing meditation(s) that is right for you.
How did these incredibly powerful and easy to use meditations happen?
Like many of you, I've had personal experience with chronic pain and serious illness. My experience with chronic pain started in 1977 when I was stricken with a serious illness that left me paralyzed from the neck down. I recovered from that illness, but still suffered from chronic pain for years.
I was introduced to meditation in 1978. Years later, I studied bio-feedback, hypnosis, and energy therapy. I helped hundreds of people to change their lives for the better. A new bout of intense pain and illness has helped me to realize the benefit of meditation for stress and pain relief.
The medical community has been helpful, but the most important part of my therapy has been my ongoing meditation and the comfort it has brought to me through relaxation, understanding, and healing. I now teach meditation using simple guided meditations that contain powerful truths, presented simply.
It doesn't matter if you have never meditated before or if you are a Zen master, you will find each meditation will guide you and teach you, simply, naturally, without difficulty. First the truth is presented and explained and then a simple breathing exercise is used to guide you into relaxation and mindfulness. Each time you listen you will go a little more deeply into pleasant relaxation.
At first, it is natural for your mind to wander. That is perfectly alright, just gently guide it back and continue. Each meditation starts with music and then my voice. After a few minutes of the truth and breathwork, there is silence for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, you will hear a moment of music to let you know the 30 minutes is up. If you wish, you may continue to meditate and ignore the music, or end your meditation.
It is not necessary to meditate for the full 30 minutes, especially if you are a beginner. Any time spent meditating is helpful. You may begin with just 5-10 minutes a day and then gradually increase that amount as you become more comfortable and begin to feel the wonderful benefits of meditation.

Did you know...
The University of Massachusetts Medical School started a mindfulness meditation program for stress reduction that was so popular, it is now used in over 200 hospitals? Many of the thousands of people who use the program every year have chronic pain and serious illness.
The National Institute of Health did a study that confirmed that meditation is one of the alternative and complementary therapies that is helpful for faster healing and pain reduction?
A recent study sponsored by the American Heart Association showed one form of meditation reduced the incidence of heart attack and stroke by almost 50%. It also lowered blood pressure and reduced the incidence of psychological stress.
The study found:
• A 47 percent reduction in the combination of death, heart attacks, and strokes in the participants
• Clinically significant (5 mm Hg average) reduction in blood pressure associated with decrease in clinical events
• Significant reductions in psychological stress in the high-stress subgroup
